Welcome letterfrom Ronnie Fass MD, FACP, FACG
Thank you for the invitation to attend and speak at the 13th International Conference on Gastrointestinal Research (ICUR) in Split, Croatia. Presently, this is the best meeting for clinicians and investigators in the field of peptic disorders. The quality of the meeting surpasses any of the other meetings related to this topic that I have attended in the past 20 years. The breadth and level of science that is presented at this meeting is impressive. I see in the ICUR meeting as a must for all health-care personnel, basic science and clinical investigators, and outcome experts.
As someone who attended the previous ICUR in Osaka, July 2006, I can testify to the high quality of the meeting and the opportunity to interact with colleagues from around the world. I would like to take this opportunity and call my colleagues in the field of gastroenterology (clinical and basic science) to register and attend the upcoming ICUR meeting in Split, Croatia, in September 2009.
Again, it gives me great pleasure to accept your invitation to attend this wonderful scientific meeting. I look forward to discussing cutting-edge topics during the conference.
Sincerely yours,
Ronnie Fass MD, FACP, FACG
